    Default Telecaster Project!

    So I figured I'd share my current build.


    Fender American Standard Telecaster Body Mystic Blue
    HipShot USA Bridge
    Clothwired CTS Pots etc
    Dimarzio Area Hot T Bridge
    Dimarzio Area T Neck
    Fender American Professional Tuners
    Warmoth Telecaster neck, Compound 10-16 radius, Jumbo SS frets (hasn't arrived yet)

    I love that color man! Great pictures for sure! I always liked mystic blue, but never saw one in person and the ebay pics of bodies for sale arent nearly as good as the quality of yours.

    Anyways, is that an NOS Fender body or a replacement Fender body? It doesnt have any screw holes drilled in the body i just noticed..

    Honestly, I think that would look awesome with a mint green or parchment pickguard. (but I do prefer the single ply that yours has vs the 3-ply of the mint & parchment...)

    Cant wait to see this one when its done!

    The body actually came fully sealed in a Fender Genuine replacement box. This has never been used on a build prior to mine.

    Thats awesome, cant beat that!

    What are the specs for your neck? What fretboard material? Im trying to picture this as a whole guitar and mine has a reverse ebony neck.

    Maple neck, maple board, 10-16 compound radius, jumbo stainless steel frets, clear satin nitro finish

    No plan to shield as of now. We'll see how noisy it is.
