    Default My Octavia Project

So I've been working on this for a while now. I started off building it on vero, but it looked like crap, so I decided that I would learn Eagle and make my own board. I've got the board even smaller than this, so it should fit comfortably inside a 1590B enclosure with no problems. It sounds really cool with germanium transistors instead of the normal silicon. The diode switching doesn't do as much as I had hoped when I originally tried doing it, but it does change the bass response nicely when the octave is engaged. Which is useful since this has no tone control.

I've got the wiring much cleaner now, I had to change a few things, I'll have to get a newer picture of it.

You made an effects pedal? That is rather impressive! Do you have any sound samples?

Yeah, I've been building them for a few years now. Still not great at it, especially the theory behind it, but I'm getting there. I do have some clips, but they're not very good. Just done up on my phone. I'll post them in a few.

Ben is this the pedal you designed? I missed this thread initially, and just now saw it, while looking for something else. Sucks the pictures are gone....

Can you make a Phaser or Flanger? How about a Chorus pedal?
Id love to hear your pedal sometimes, you should do a demo video.

I can. I've not made my own schematic for any of those, but I gave the parts to build them. If you ever want one I'd be happy to build it for you. I'll text you pics.
